Our beloved Jerimy was our protector, comedian, hero, friend. Cherished, treasured, and loved.
His laughter lifted our spirits, his smile restored our souls. The loss of this precious boy has left a
void that can never be filled. Jerimy has a peace that we can't begin to understand, while we are left in turmoil and
grief. Why? This did not have to be...
Jerimy's death could have been prevented, SHOULD have been prevented. He was driving on Parker's Chapel Road,
near El Dorado, Arkansas when he took a curve too fast. He struck a Pine tree, wrapping his car around it. This
curve is almost a right angle. One who is unfamiliar with the area could easily do the same thing. In fact,
they have.
Jerimy's accident was not the first at this deadly curve, nor was he the first fatality. It's rumored
that there have been at least two deaths and six accidents at the SAME place. We are currently trying to verify
this information. Why have no safety measures been taken? How many people have to die before something is done?
Why no guardrail, no signs, no speed bumps? Why not cut down the tree? Is it the cost maybe? Surely the
safety of human lives is worth the expense of these minor precautions...
